FAQ
Questions you might have
Have more questions? Reach us anytime via the contact links in the footer.
01What is an anime pilgrimage?
An anime pilgrimage means traveling to the real-world locations that appear in anime. SeichiGo organizes those locations into a searchable spot map — find them by series or by city, then compare the view with the scene yourself.
02How does the planner build an itinerary?
Tell it the series you want to visit, how many days you have, and which cities. The planner picks matching spots from the database, groups them by geography into ordered days, then adds transit and meal suggestions — a day-by-day itinerary you can keep adjusting.
03What can I use for free?
The spot map, the anime and city indexes, and all pilgrimage guides are free. The planner's free tier generates itineraries of up to 3 days, with transit estimated as straight-line distance and no restaurant recommendations; upgrading to Standard unlocks real transit routing and restaurant picks, for trips of up to 7 days.
04Where does the spot data come from?
Spots come from the public anime pilgrimage database Anitabi and from user submissions. We keep syncing updates and correcting coordinates and series mappings; if you spot an error, let us know via the contact links in the footer.
05Can I edit the itinerary myself?
Yes. Once an itinerary is generated, tell the planner right on the plan page what to change — swap a spot, reorder, add or drop days — and it adjusts the existing plan. You can also save it and come back to keep editing anytime.
